Google just launched Flow Music โ and it's not just another AI music generator. It's a full production studio built on top of Lyria 3 Pro, the model that already proved itself with 100 million generations in under 50 days.
Flow Music lets you generate full songs from text prompts, then remix them with natural language. Say "make it sadder" or "add more bass" and the model adjusts in real time. You can edit individual layers, sync your music to video through Veo integration, and export everything with SynthID watermarks for copyright peace of mind.
This is built on Google's acquisition of ProducerAI from February 2026 โ they bought the interface expertise and bolted it onto Lyria's engine. The result is something that directly competes with Suno Studio for the "all-in-one browser DAW" space.
The big differentiator is the video sync. If you're making content โ TikToks, YouTube videos, Reels โ being able to generate a soundtrack that automatically matches your video's mood and pacing is a serious workflow upgrade. Suno can't do that yet.
For Artist Clone users, here's the play: use Artist Clone to dial in your style description, generate your primary track on Suno (still the best for vocals), then use Flow Music for instrumental beds, background scores, or video-synced audio. Two platforms, one style identity, maximum output.
The AI music studio wars just got a lot more interesting.
