Users across Reddit, Discord, and the Suno forums are reporting a consistent set of bugs in v5.5 that Suno hasn't officially acknowledged yet. The biggest one is a recurring audio artifact — a pop, click, or boom — that hits right around the 48-second mark across completely different genres and prompts.
It's not just one person. Multiple creators are confirming the same timestamp glitch independently. Some users are also reporting that their sessions randomly default back to v5 instead of v5.5, which means you might be generating on the older model without realizing it.
Other reported issues include contaminated stems in Suno Studio — where vocal and instrumental separation bleeds into each other — and covers not rendering correctly. The creativity regression complaints are growing too: the model plays it safer, producing more predictable output that lacks the happy accidents v5 sometimes delivered.
If you're working in Artist Clone and your generations sound off, check which model version you're actually running. And if you hit that 48-second glitch, try regenerating — it doesn't appear on every generation, just frequently enough to be annoying.
Suno's running their 20% off annual plans promo through April 21, so they're clearly focused on conversions right now. Hopefully bug fixes follow the sales push.
